Georgia prep schools land in final national polls

A handful of Georgia high school baseball programs landed in the final national high school baseball rankings by three major media outlets. Perfect Game has not announced its final rankings as of June, 27.

Georgia High School Association Class 6A state champion Walton was ranked 12th by MaxPreps, 13th by Baseball America and 27th in Prep Baseball Report's final rankings

Class 5A state champion Newnan was ranked 18th by Baseball America and 32nd by Prep Baseball Report.

Class 4A state champion Blessed Trinity finished 19th in MaxPreps' final rankings, 44th by Baseball America and 13th by Prep Baseball Report.

A trio of state schools that didn't win state championships were ranked by Prep Baseball Report. Houston County finished 35th while Etowah was ranked 41st. Lowndes made the honorable mention list.
