Georgia Southwestern Cat 5 Showcase

Georgia Southwestern State University Baseball will host the first CAT 5 Showcase of the fall on Saturday, August 23, 2025.  This camp is a one-day event that features two sessions, one for position players and one for pitchers/catchers.  As a player you will have the opportunity to meet the coaching staff one-on-one and be evaluated by the camp staff. There will also be agility / strength testing (med ball throws for velocity, broad jump, grip strength, etc.) that will be done as part of the evaluation.  These evaluations are used in the development of our current players!

Our Cat 5 Showcases are designed for potential players to visit campus and workout with our coaching staff!  These events have been valuable in our recruiting process over the years.

All Georgia Southwestern Baseball Camps are open to any and all applicants and are limited only by the number of slots available per camp and the age, grade level and/or the gender of the participant.
