Danny Hall is the all-time winningest baseball coach in Georgia Tech history. The legendary coach was inducted into the Georgia Dugout Club Hall of Fame in 2007.

Hall spent his entire coaching career involved with winning programs. His tenure at Georgia Tech was his most successful, notching 1,244 victories at the school. He led the Jackets to the NCAA Tournament on 25 occasions and guided Tech to the College World Series in 1994, 2002 and 2006, the only head coach in the program's storied history to reach Omaha, site of the College World Series.

A winner in every sense of the word, Hall coached college baseball for 45 years (both as assistant and head coach) and was never associated with a program under .500 for a season. Hall holds a career coaching mark of 1452-793-1.

He retired after the 2025 season.

He recorded more than 50 victories in a season three times and he guided Georgia Tech to a runner-up finish at the College World Series in 1994.

Under his leadership, more than 100 Yellow Jackets were selected in the Major League Baseball Draft, including a school-record 10 draft picks in 2005 and 2007 and a record five top-10 round picks in 2013.

Hall also held positions at Miami (Ohio), Michigan and Kent State. He was the head coach at Kent State from 1988-1993 and compiled a 208-117 record.

He played collegiately at Miami (Ohio) and was a four-year letterman. He led Miami to NCAA Regional appearances in 1974 and 1977 before getting drafted in the ninth round by the Oakland Athletics in 1973.

Hall was selected to the Miami (Ohio) Athletics Hall of Fame in 1998 and the Kent State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005. He was also inducted into the Miami Cradle of Coaches in 2007.
